Choose what to feature.
You choose a small selection of stock. Before any test, we’ll agree who prepares the listings and how availability is maintained.
Opdrops for stores
Opdrops is being built to connect selected secondhand pieces with nearby shoppers, through an iPhone app and a store dashboard. The proposed journey ends in your shop, with pickup and payment in person.
Preparing a small, founder-assisted Melbourne pilot.
Start with a conversation. Registering interest does not commit you to a pilot.
We’re focusing on owner-led businesses with one-off stock, local foot traffic and room to try something small. That includes rent-a-rack, consignment and multi-vendor stores.
Different setup? Tell Matayo about it. The first conversation is about how your store works and whether Opdrops could add something useful.
The proposed workflow
01
You choose a small selection of stock. Before any test, we’ll agree who prepares the listings and how availability is maintained.
02
When a shopper asks for a hold, you check that the item is available and confirm or decline the request.
03
Any hold needs to fit your store’s policy and what the pilot can support. A shopper’s request does not reserve an item until you confirm it.
04
The shopper collects within the confirmed timeframe and pays in store. Your team records the pickup or updates the item’s status.
Already have item records? We’ll look at what could be reused before we agree on a workflow for your store. We’re not promising automatic stock syncing.
Can shoppers go from spotting a piece to picking it up, with a workload that makes sense for your store?
I’m Matayo, the founder of Opdrops. I’ll work directly with participating stores to test that journey and understand the work behind it: preparing listings, responding to requests and completing pickups.
Pilot fees, timing and the number of participating stores are still being finalised. Those details would be agreed before you commit.
No. The proposed pilot focuses on a small selection, not a full online catalogue. We’d agree what to feature with you.
That needs to be agreed for your store before a pilot starts. Founder assistance is planned, but your team would still need to keep availability accurate, respond to requests and record pickups. The test needs to show whether that effort is worthwhile.
Holds are part of the first journey being tested, but they are not right for every store. Tell me how your policy works. We would need to establish fit rather than assume you should change it.
No. In the proposed pilot, customers collect and pay in store after a hold is confirmed. This is not an online checkout or shipping service.
That is not the intention. Opdrops focuses on local discovery and store-controlled pickup. We would look at your existing records and workflow before deciding what could be reused. A ready-made POS connection is not being offered.
Not yet. The product is in development and a small Melbourne pilot is being prepared. You can register store interest now, but this is not self-serve onboarding to a live network.
Fees, duration and the number of participating stores are still being finalised. You would see the proposed terms and responsibilities before deciding whether to take part.
Matayo will review your enquiry. Any follow-up will be by email and may start with a short conversation about how your store works. Sending the form does not book a call or enrol your store in a pilot.
Tell Matayo, the founder of Opdrops, a little about your business. Opdrops is preparing a small Melbourne pilot; this enquiry is a chance to explore fit, not a commitment to take part.
Matayo will review your details. Any follow-up will be by email.
Your submission is confirmed only when Tally shows its thank-you screen. If that does not appear, use the hosted form or email instead.
